 Geared mostly towards DC characters:

Is there anything that Bruce should or would know about you, your history, and your past interactions with Bruce/Batman, or your impact on the universe in general? Oversharing is ALWAYS appreciated. Even if it's something I've read, I'd like to know what bits of plot you'd like me to play with or think would make good CR. If you happen to know issues of comics or specific storylines that you'd like me to brush up on, that's also great,  but not needed.

Bruce has done his research on Kate, but that all depends on his pull point and I gave you the #0 issue though I'll touch on things again anyway here so you can always go back to reference it.

Katherine Rebecca Kane was born into a military family. Both Jake and Gabi Kane were in the US Army. Also, Kate had a twin sister named Elizabeth. I'm not sure how much is public knowledge, but I assume some wealthy families and those with connections are somewhat aware Gabi and her daughters were kidnapped in Brussels. Jake led the rescue team but in Bruce's words, it was "reported" Kate was in the room where both Gabi and Beth died. Many years later she tried to follow in her parents' footsteps at USMA but was expelled under DADT.

The Kane family is the second richest after Bruce's. The now Colonel Jake Kane remarried a wealthy socialite named Catherine Hamilton. Again, I don't know if this is still canon since it was written in 52... but the money comes from Hamilton Rifle Company. Gothamites mostly know of Kate for spending her nights out partying and spending her stepmother's money.

Also, prior to her meeting of Bruce!Bat when she didn't know what to do with her life, her appearance was different. When she left for two years and came back, she started wearing heavy make-up, etc. Sports a rockabilly look these days.

When the Religion of Crime kidnapped her, Renee Montoya and Dick Grayson went in to rescue her. Kate was stabbed, though she survived and was hospitalized for a month. I assume these kind of things are gossiped about among Gotham's wealthy and powerful. The thing with Kate's canon is it's incredibly self-contained and isolated from the rest of the DCU, so not many people are aware she's technically this... famous heiress from Gotham. Her cousin is also Bette Kane, also known as the hero Flamebird who was (is?) a Teen Titan.
